Receptionist

An opportunity has arisen at Signage Specialist for an experienced and friendly individual to take on the role of our receptionist. An integral part of our team you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and callers so you must be a good communicator with first-rate customer skills. The ideal candidate will also have an excellent telephone manner and up to date word processing skills (possession of an RSA level 2 typing qualification would be a distinct advantage). Prior clerical experience is a must.

Sign Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced sign fabricator with 3 years experience in the industry. Working within our fabrication department, the ideal candidate will be able to fabricate signs in a range of materials including: acrylic, aluminium, timber and a range of plastics. The role will involve working as part of a team and individually, therefore experience and skill within the field is a must. Specialised skills in either Cad/Cam operating, Laser operating, painting/spraying, Mig/Tig fabrication or Electrical component knowledge/assembly would also be a major advantage. We are looking for a meticulous and hard working individual who can carry out the job with enthusiasm and little supervision. Salary and benefits related to ability and experience

Trainee

Looking to develop your career within the sign industry? Signage Specialist has the perfect opportunity. We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent individual looking to develop their skills in the industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a wide range of fields including Painting/spraying, fabrication, joinery and CAD/CAM production. This is very much a hands on role, demanding a high standard of workmanship; therefore we are looking for someone with practical knowledge of hand fabrication skills in areas such as joinery or metalwork either through work experience or vocational qualifications (we require GCSE grade C or above or NVQ grade 2 oe similar).
